A Little about the area.                               A little bit about us.

Glendive Montana is located on the Eastern side of the state, approximately 30 miles from the North Dakota border and serves as the county seat for Dawson County.  The town was founded in 1881 after the arrival of the Northern Pacific Railway. Glendive is the hub for the rich inland agricultural area of eastern Montana and Western North Dakota.  The Yellowstone River flows through the town and the rugged Badland of Makoshika State Park border the south part of town.

Glendive is located along Interstate 94 and Montana State Highway 16 heads north from town.

Dawson Community College is located in town and the Frontier Gateway Museum and historic Bell Street Bridge are notable sites. Nearby Makoshika State Park, known for its unusual rock formations, is the largest state park in Montana.

Summers are warm and mostly clear and the winters are freezing, dry, windy, and partly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 9°F to 88°F and is rarely below -13°F or above 98°F.

The area around Glendive offers recreational opportunities galore. (biking, fishing, boating, hunting, snowmobile riding, ice fishing, sledding, etc.)  You will always find something fun to do in the area!

Whispering Trees is a combination community, which has mobile homes on one side and RVs spaces on the other. We have efficiency units, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units available for short or long term stays. We have a small laundry building that has a coin operated machines and large folding table area with sinks.

The park is located on the west side of Glendive along I-94 and next to the Jefferson School Road overpass. So you have good freeway access or the main park of town.

The park has been upgraded and we have brought some new features into the park, we recently added a stamped concrete Pergola and flagpole. We are also bringing homes and cabins into the park.
